Damiain is a multi instrumentalist and vocalist who is greatly adept to playing a vast array of different genres and styles of music on his instruments. He began piano at a tender age of 8 and by 17, he took up the bass guitar and the six-string guitar soon followed. In his early twenties, the teaching began both privately and in various schools across Hampshire, City of Portsmouth Boys school, St.John's College Southsea, Barton Peveril College Eastleigh, Horndean Community School and Park Community School Leigh Park to name a few. 

As well as teaching, Damian has played in many bands over the years covering many styles from punk, pop, original, soul, funk, jazz, rock and metal. This has included working as a solo resident musician for Thomson Holidays in beautiful locations around the world, including Crete, Mallorca and Egypt where he played guitar, piano and sung daily for happy holiday makers. Currently he plays in his own band, The Damiain Lodrick Band


Damiain graduated from Chichester University in 2010 with a first class BA honours degree in Music and and was awarded the Hayes Prize for academic excellence.


Damiain is a member of the The Musicians Union and The registry of guitar of tutors.
